Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a growing nationwide medico-legal provider who deliver psychological and psychiatric assessments to support legal cases across the UK. Due to increasing demand, Service Care Solutions are recruiting experienced Clinical Psychologists to join their expanding panel of medico-legal expert witnesses. This role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified clinicians to undertake structured psychological assessments that contribute to legal case reports, without the requirement for court attendance. Assessments are concise, professionally supported and designed to allow clinicians to focus purely on clinical evaluation. Working with Service Care Solutions, you will be part of a well-established medico-legal network delivering high-quality psychological assessments nationwide. Priority location – Cardiff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured medico-legal psychological assessments for individuals involved in legal cases.
- Complete clinical interviews typically lasting around 45 minutes.
- Review relevant documentation where required.
- Areas including personal injury, immigration/asylum, family law, medical negligence, criminal matters, and housing disrepair.
- Work collaboratively with the provider’s administrative and medico-legal teams.
- Ensure assessments are conducted in line with professional and ethical standards.
- Reports are drafted by dedicated medical secretaries, significantly reducing administrative workload for clinicians.
Requirements
- Current HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to conduct structured psychological assessments efficiently.
- Professional communication and documentation standards.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Benefits
