Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a local council as they look to recruit a Payroll Officer. You will be responsible for adhering to strict Payroll deadlines including processing of pay to gross and gross to net.
Responsibilities:- Processing all payroll including salaries, bonuses, over payments and expenses.
- Advising and providing guidance on payroll matters.
- Efficiently dealing with overpayments utilising SAP.
- Offer support to Managers across the Council with pay related queries.
- Work closely with the internal recruitment teams, ensuring timely set up and pay of new starters.
- Assisting with training of staff as and when required.
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Experience of processing payroll.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Full Right to Work (sponsorship will not be offered).
