Decorator – Bracknell

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for an experienced decorator to join a well‑established social housing maintenance contractor covering Bracknell and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term employment with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff following a successful 12‑week temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external decorating works within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping and priming.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and decorative finishes to a high standard.
• Complete repairs to walls, ceilings and woodwork prior to decorating.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to company standards.
• Maintain accurate job records using handheld devices.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a decorator within social housing or property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's own workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
