Role Overview:
Job Description
You will join as a Bookkeeper working with commercial clients, smaller OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries and turnover sizes.
- Bookkeeping using cloud-based products (Kashflow, FreeAgent, Xero), as well as SAGE and Excel
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assisting with the implementation of cloud accounting technologies
- Training clients in bookkeeping
- Some onsite client-facing work, collaborating with clients and supporting the accounts team
- Office admin support functions
- Candidates should be IAB qualified or hold a similar qualification, with at least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting practice
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
- Desire to expand skills within a progressive accountancy practice
- Keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
