Service Care Solutions is working alongside a leading accountancy firm that is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their supportive team on a permanent basis. Please see the role details below: Role: Bookkeeper Rate: £26,000 to £29,000 Location: Fulwood, Preston Working: Full-time, Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week in the office) Role Overview: Job Description You will join as a Bookkeeper working with commercial clients, smaller OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries and turnover sizes. Bookkeeping using cloud-based products (Kashflow, FreeAgent, Xero), as well as SAGE and Excel Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assisting with the implementation of cloud accounting technologies Training clients in bookkeeping Some onsite client-facing work, collaborating with clients and supporting the accounts team Office admin support functions Candidates should be IAB qualified or hold a similar qualification, with at least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting practice Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping and VAT return preparation Desire to expand skills within a progressive accountancy practice Keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines If you are interested or know someone suitable, please contact Marc at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208969 or email marc.facer@servicecare.org.uk.
