We're recruiting Teaching Assistants across Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and the wider East Lancashire area to work with our clients across primary, secondary and SEN settings, including specialist and alternative provision schools.
Work Types & Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Cover – Flexible supply work across primary, secondary, SEN and alternative provision settings. Ideal if you want to choose your own days, build relationships with a variety of schools, and keep your schedule open. Bookings can range from single days to short blocks.
- Long-Term Placements (from September 2026) – Termly and full academic year roles available now for the new school year across primary, secondary and SEN clients, including:
- 1:1 SEN support
- Classroom-based TA positions in primary and secondary mainstream
- Roles within specialist SEN schools and alternative provision
Who We're Looking For
- Experienced Teaching Assistants (qualified or unqualified)
- Graduates and aspiring teachers looking for classroom experience
- Career changers with relevant transferable experience (youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, childcare, healthcare)
- SEN-experienced support staff
- Cover Supervisors
Requirements
- The right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Two professional references covering the last two years
