Credit Controller in Blackburn

Overview

Service Care are delighted to be working with a long standing client who is looking to expand their Credit Control team.

You will be working within a friendly and flexible Accountancy Practice, assisting with debt collection from clients.

This is the perfect role for someone with experience in Credit Control and who values a work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the management of the sales ledger.
• Chase outstanding debts and invoices via telephone or email.
• Assist with statement runs on a monthly basis.
• Build a strong rapport with clients, ensuring thorough communication and effective cashflow management.
• Set up new clients on the system and set up standing orders, reviewing and increasing them when needed.
• Set up credit terms and limits for clients.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with Credit Control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
