Service Care Solutions are currently working on behalf of a well‑established Financial Planning business, who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planner to join their growing team across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Financial Planner to join a values‑led business focused on delivering high‑quality, holistic financial advice to individuals, families and businesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compliant, client‑focused advice across investments, pensions, estate planning and protection, while maintaining strong ongoing relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality, compliant financial advice in line with FCA requirements and internal procedures.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Complete client reviews within required timescales and to a high professional standard.
  • Gather client information, identify financial planning needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
  • Prepare and complete all supporting documentation accurately.
  • Deliver a professional, timely and efficient service to clients.
  • Maintain competent adviser status in line with FCA and firm requirements.
  • Keep up to date with product, technical and legislative changes within the market.
  • Maintain a valid Statement of Professional Standing.
  • Undertake ongoing CPD activity to support professional development and regulatory competence.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure clients receive a seamless service.
Candidate Criteria
  • Previous experience as a Financial Planner / Financial Adviser within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
  • Diploma Level 4.
  • Qualified as a minimum, ideally Chartered or working towards.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
  • Good understanding of FCA regulations, compliance requirements and record‑keeping standards.
  • Experience delivering high‑quality client service and building long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong communication, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident using systems, processes and financial planning tools.
  • Professional, dependable and committed to delivering positive client outcomes.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a wider team.
