Overview
Adultz Advanced Practitioner - Social Care Qualified (Contract).
This contract role is in our client’s Adult Safeguarding Team.
The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within adult safeguarding, working with professionals and key stakeholders to uphold high standards of practice.
Contract details: Contract Type - Contract; Contract Length - 2 weeks; Pay Rate - Competitive daily rate (please enquire).
Responsibilities
- Lead safeguarding enquiries, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and defensible decision-making.
- Work alongside another Advanced Practitioner, Team Manager, and Senior Manager to support the day-to-day running of the Adult Safeguarding Team.
- Provide professional supervision and guidance to experienced Social Workers and Care Navigators.
- Deliver a consultation service to professionals seeking safeguarding advice, including referrals, enquiries under Section 42, and Mental Capacity Assessments.
- Support Duty workers by triaging referrals, helping to reduce inappropriate referrals and ensuring efficient case management.
- Make timely, informed onward referral decisions to appropriate agencies, enhancing service delivery and safeguarding outcomes.
- Support adherence to legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice standards in adult safeguarding.
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant safeguarding experience.
- Proven track record in an Advanced Practitioner role within adult safeguarding.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to support and supervise social care staff effectively.
