Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist substance misuse service in Nottinghamshire on a full-time, 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in substance misuse support who is passionate about helping vulnerable people make positive and sustainable changes in their lives.
- Role: Recovery Worker – Substance Misuse
- Working Pattern: Monday–Friday
- Pay: £18.14 to £20.62 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ £20.15 to £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
The Role
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a caseload of individuals experiencing substance misuse issues.
- Carrying out assessments and developing individualised recovery plans.
- Providing one-to-one support and interventions.
- Supporting service users to engage with appropriate treatment and external services.
- Promoting harm reduction and positive lifestyle changes.
- Working collaboratively with health, social care and other partner agencies.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential case records.
- Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Supporting vulnerable adults and working within safeguarding procedures relating to children and young people.
- Attending relevant meetings and contributing to multi‑agency working.
Previous professional experience working within substance misuse services.
