Service Care Solutions is working with a respected local authority based in Nottingham, seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with strong planning law expertise to support a busy and collaborative team on a flexible contract arrangement.

Role: Planning Lawyer

Umbrella Rate: £60 - £65 per hour PAYE Inc.; Rate: £52.39 - £56.74 per hour.

Duration: 3 months ongoing.

Location: Nottingham – hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 Agreements.
  • Prepare Highways Agreements under Sections 38 and 278 of the Highways Act.
  • Provide general legal advice on planning and highways issues.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with 5 or more years' PQE in Planning Law.
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements.
  • Experience advising on planning law matters within a local authority or similar environment.
