Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive caretaker on behalf of a valued client based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with caretaking, site maintenance, or facilities experience looking for a long‑term role within a school environment.
Location: Nottingham, NG5 4JF
Hours: Monday to Friday split shift 06:00 – 09:00 and 14:30 – 18:00
Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour (PayE inc Holiday) | £16.86 per hour (LTD Umbrella)
Contract: 2 months
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Opening and locking the building daily
- Carrying out basic cleaning duties
- Porterage and moving equipment where required
- Conducting routine compliance and safety checks
- Ensuring the site is safe, secure, and well maintained at all times
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking or facilities experience preferred
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Enhanced DBS check required
