Overview
Senior Social Worker (Children's) - Yorkshire Collaboration.
This contract role is for a two-week assignment with the possibility of extension, supporting children and young people with complex health needs and disabilities within the Complex Care Needs Team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, typically around 20β25 cases, balancing high-quality statutory work with lower-frequency visits.
- Complete statutory assessments, reviews, and safeguarding procedures efficiently and thoroughly.
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Ensure all visits, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Contribute to team duty functions, supporting service delivery and safeguarding protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain ongoing communication with colleagues.
- Adapt to changing team structures during the current period of transition.
