Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting Deputy Managers to support the leadership of children’s residential homes across the South, South West, and South East regions. The Role

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring young people receive outstanding care and support in a safe and nurturing environment. You will play a key role in staff supervision, safeguarding, care planning, and maintaining high standards of practice throughout the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home
  • Lead shifts and provide guidance to residential care staff
  • Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed
  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
  • Support compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
  • Contribute to care planning and risk management processes
  • Build positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals

About You

  • Experience within children’s residential care.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a minimum
  • Working towards or willing to undertake Level 5 qualification
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
