Assistant Independent Living Partner
Location: Bordon, Hampshire
Salary: £19.18 per hour (LTD/Umbrella)
Contract: 3‑Month Temporary Contract
We’re currently recruiting for an Assistant Independent Living Partner to join a respected housing provider in Bordon, Hampshire on an initial 3‑month temporary contract. You'll play a key role in supporting residents across Independent Living schemes, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring schemes remain safe, compliant and welcoming environments. Working alongside the Independent Living Partner, you'll assist with tenancy management, wellbeing support, customer engagement, health & safety inspections and day‑to‑day scheme management.
The Role
- Supporting the management of Independent Living schemes for older residents
- Carrying out tenancy and housing management duties including voids, allocations and customer inductions
- Completing health & safety, fire safety and compliance inspections
- Conducting wellbeing contacts and identifying customers who may require additional support
- Responding to social alarm calls and assisting with emergency situations where required
- Working closely with residents, colleagues and external agencies to promote independent living and community engagement
- Supporting with safeguarding, ASB cases and resident involvement activities
What We're Looking For
- Experience within housing management, sheltered housing or independent living
- Knowledge of tenancy management, safeguarding and housing legislation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience carrying out risk assessments and health & safety checks
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
