Overview
This role supports the busy Asset Management team in delivering housing services. It is hybrid, with an initial office-based training period at Birmingham Business Park (B37 7YN) before moving to a mixture of home and office working.
Responsibilities
- Contact residents by telephone to arrange appointments for Stock Condition Surveys
- Prepare letters, reports and general correspondence
- Handle telephone and email enquiries from residents and internal stakeholders
- Liaise with Surveyors, Housing Officers, Contractors, Resident Liaison Officers and Contact Centre teams to coordinate access
- Raise and process purchase orders
- Organise meetings using Microsoft Outlook
- Take and produce accurate meeting minutes
- Maintain electronic filing systems and retrieve information when required
- Provide a professional reception and visitor meet-and-greet service when required
Requirements
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience dealing with customers over the telephone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
