Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based in North London, which is seeking a Junior Lawyer specialising in Residential Property to join their esteemed in-house legal team. This role would be ideally suited to a legal professional who is looking to make the jump from private practice to local government.
Location: North London – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £30-£35ph
Equivalent Salary: £44,805 - £52,000
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
The key responsibilities of the Residential Property Lawyer role:
- Handle a residential property law caseload from start to completion.
- Manage a diverse case load, which includes handling regeneration projects, residential acquisitions/disposals, Right to Buy disposals, licenses, leases, title work, and basic planning section 106 agreements/unilateral undertakings.
- Perform any other duties required for the successful running of the team.
Required skills/qualifications:
- Qualification as a Property Lawyer/ILEX/Licensed Conveyancer.
- Strong understanding of residential property law and transactions.
- The ability to attend the office two days per week.
