Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a local authority, based in Oxfordshire, who are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their legal services team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an employment law specialist to undertake claimant-side work on behalf of the council, supporting a busy and well-established in-house legal function.
The Role:
- Conducting and managing Employment Tribunal litigation from inception to conclusion.
- Advising council departments on a wide range of employment law matters, including disciplinary issues, grievances, dismissals, discrimination, and whistleblowing.
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, witness statements, and settlement documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of PQE in Employment Law as a Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales (with a current practicing certificate).
- Strong experience in employment law, ideally within a local authority or public sector.
- Proven experience handling Employment Tribunal claimant work.
