Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a highly regarded law firm in Leeds, who are looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join their established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning lawyer to work within a well-respected, full-service Yorkshire law firm, advising a diverse client base on a wide range of planning and development matters. This role is offered on a full-time basis, with a competitive salary starting from £35,000+ (dependent on experience) and is open to candidates across a range of PQE levels.
Responsibilities as a Planning Solicitor:
- Providing clear, commercial, and pragmatic advice on a broad range of planning law matters.
- Advising clients on planning applications, appeals, enforcement matters, and planning obligations.
- Drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements and related documentation.
- Managing a varied planning law caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Acting for developers, landowners, and other stakeholders on contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm when required.
About you as a Planning Solicitor:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant planning law experience.
- All PQE in planning law (applications will be considered as long as you are qualified).
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to manage your own caseload.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and client-care skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and professional approach.
