Service Care Legal are working with a well-regarded law firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team. This is a key hire into a growing Dispute Resolution team covering a broad range of matters including commercial litigation, contractual and shareholder disputes, insolvency, property litigation, and debt recovery. There is also exposure to PI/medical negligence and construction disputes.
ROLE: Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution
PQE: 5 years’+
LOCATION: Guildford
SALARY: £65,000 to £80,000 per annum
The Role:
- Manage a caseload of high-value, complex commercial disputes
- Act as a senior fee earner, delivering high-quality client service
- Support partners on more complex matters
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, including trainees
- Play an active role in the development and growth of the Guildford team
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with strong disputes experience (5 years’+ PQE)
- Proven experience in commercial/contractual disputes (shareholder disputes desirable)
- Experience in construction disputes advantageous
- Demonstrated ability or ambition to mentor and supervise others
- Commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative
