Service Care Solutions are looking for 7 Paralegals to help work on the COVID-19 Public Inquiry. You will support the legal team, including solicitors and counsel, by providing essential investigative and legal assistance. This role involves working in a dynamic, high-volume environment, where attention to detail and analytical skills are critical. The position is an agency contract lasting 12 months.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors and Counsel with evidence analysis and management
- Preparing reports, briefing documents, and supporting legal documentation
- Supporting briefing teams on witness evidence collection
- Preparing and reviewing Core Participant documentation
- Cross-checking documents prior to publication and managing redactions
- Liaising closely with legal professionals across investigations
- Providing flexible support within the wider paralegal team to ensure efficient case progression
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, research, and note-taking skills
- Experience working within a legal environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Scots law
Salary / Pay Rate / Working Arrangements
- Salary: £38,422
- LTD day rate: £200.45, PAYE (INC) £171.14
- Full time - hybrid working 2 days in the office a week, rest from home (35hrs a week)
