Service Care Solutions is working alongside a dynamic local authority, based in Berkshire, which needs a Legal Assistant to join their Contracts and Commercial team. Your primary responsibilities will include tracking responses from suppliers, updating contract registers, and liaising with the legal department to ensure all documents are properly signed and in order.ROLE: Legal Assistant – Contracts and Commercial teamLOCATION: Berkshire – hybrid workingUMBRELLA RATE: £16.50 – £17.00phPAYE Rate inc: £14.93 – £15.37phCONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoingKey responsibilities of the Legal Assistant role:

• Handle any administrative responsibilities required for the successful running of the contracts and commercial team.
• Liaising with the legal department to ensure all documents are in proper form and signed appropriately.
• General administrative support the Contract Novations workstream team.

Key requirements

• Strong administrative skills, with experience providing support in a legal setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
