Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a grown local authority based in Merseyside who are seeking a Childcare Paralegal to join their team.This role pays a competitive rate of:Umbrella rate – £17ph – 19ph umbrella depending on experience.PAYE (inc.Hol) – £15.48 – £17.24ph depending on experienceThis role is on a Hybrid basis and on a 5-month contract with potential to extend.Responsibilities as a Childcare Paralegal:
- To provide assistance to the solicitor dealing with the case
- Support the children’s case transfer process and inform accepting team of any upcoming filing dates and court hearings in order to prevent delay.
- Dealing with caseload from start to completion regarding childcare law
About you as a Childcare Paralegal:
- Experience of a familiarity with legal documentation and language and of drafting the same
- Experience of drafting letters and reports
- Experience of attending court with counsel and taking notes of hearings
