Service Care are working with an extremely well established Accountancy Firm across Cumbria. My client has been around for over 100 years and continue to grow from strength to strength. Due to this continued growth, they are looking for a Tax Manager to join their Carlisle office.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for the management of your own portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Advise clients on all aspects of tax compliance and tax planning.
- Maintain strong client relationships and being the main point of contact for any tax related queries.
- Annual preparation of tax returns including Personal tax returns, Partnership tax returns, Capital Gains Tax returns.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide commercial solutions.
- Making a full review of clients’ total tax positions for the year.
- Ensure all returns are submitted accurately and on time.
- Provide tax advice on areas such as business restructuring, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning, Share schemes and Property taxation.
- Support the senior leadership team on complex tax planning projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years Tax experience within a practice environment.
- ACA/CTA/ACCA or QBE.
- Experience of managing your own portfolio of tax clients.
- Full UK driving license.
Benefits:
