Service Care Solutions are working alongside Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council who are looking for an expereinced Administrator (Finance) to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below. Role: Administrator (Financial)Location: Tonypandy Rate: £13.47-£14.78 (PAYE exc.) / £15.80-£17.64 (Umbrella)Working: Hybrid 2-3 days (following initial training period)Contract: 3 months on going Role Overview:
- Process and monitor payment of high-value construction-related invoices.
- Track and monitor budgets, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with forecasting and cost control.
- Update and maintain internal databases with financial and administrative data.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding payments and documentation.
- General office administration including document creation, correspondence, and filing.
- Support in producing documentation and reports using Word, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
- Assist with procurement and order processing tasks as required.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a construction or finance-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of budget monitoring and invoice processing.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, tables, charts) and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to manage financial data accurately.
