A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Project Officer to join a leading Housing Association in Wigan, providing high-quality housing-related support to vulnerable adults and families.
THE ROLE
As a Housing Project Officer, you will deliver person-centred support to customers both within the scheme and in the community, helping them to develop independence, maintain their tenancy, and achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage referrals and allocations, including completing risk assessments and safety planning.
- Provide regular 1-2-1 support sessions, completing support plans and liaising with external agencies.
- Work collaboratively with Housing, Social Care, CMHT, Drug & Alcohol Services, Probation, Police and Benefits agencies.
- Provide scheme cover on a rota basis, ensuring safety, security and smooth handovers.
- Deliver keywork support using the Support Star model to help customers sustain accommodation and develop life skills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records including risk assessments, data sheets and support plans.
- Support the turnaround of scheme and dispersed properties and ensure repairs are reported and completed promptly.
THE CANDIDATE
