Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join the repairs and maintenance team for a local authority. We’re looking for a Painter and Decorator who will deliver planned maintenance and reactive repairs to both void and tenanted properties throughout Bournemouth. Duties Include:
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming.
- Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail.
- Protecting surrounding areas with dust sheets, tape, and coverings.
- Repairing cracks, holes, or imperfections before painting.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Proven experience in Painting and Decorating
- Full UK driving licence
