Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join the repairs and maintenance team for a local authority. We’re looking for a Painter and Decorator who will deliver planned maintenance and reactive repairs to both void and tenanted properties throughout  Bournemouth. Duties Include:

  • Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming.
  • Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail.
  • Protecting surrounding areas with dust sheets, tape, and coverings.
  • Repairing cracks, holes, or imperfections before painting.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £17.38 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £14.91 inclusive of holiday).You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.You will need:
  • Proven experience in Painting and Decorating
  • Full UK driving licence
