Job Description
- Carry out carpentry, plumbing, and masonry repairs to a high standard across internal and external areas of residential properties.
- Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and colleagues to provide updates and resolve issues effectively.
- Deliver work efficiently, achieving first-time fixes whenever possible.
- Accurately record work progress, materials used, and timesheets using a tablet or smartphone.
- Maintain vehicle stock and tools, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion of work.
- Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
- Support other trades when required to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Follow safe working practices and use appropriate PPE and risk assessments.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks, reporting defects where necessary.
- Undertake additional training as required to develop multi-trade skills.
Requirements
- Competency in carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Maintenance Operations (or equivalent qualification), or time-served experience.
- Experience in delivering maintenance work to tight deadlines across multiple properties.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use mobile technology for job logging and updates.
