Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Rotherham for an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their busy theatre team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated nurse to take on flexible shifts within a supportive clinical environment.Job Title: Theatre Scrub NurseLocation: RotherhamContract: Agency / Locum Shifts AvailablePay Rates: £20.00 – £30.00 p/h (Ltd) Equivalent to £18.04 – £26.74 p/h (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)Key Details:? Immediate start available? Flexible shifts – days & weekends? Competitive pay rates with enhancementsKey Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled scrub assistance during surgical procedures.
- Prepare, check, and manage theatre equipment and instrumentation.
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
- Adhere to infection control policies and theatre best practice guidelines.
- Support colleagues across pre and post-operative care when required.
Requirements:
- NMC registration (Registered Nurse).
- Minimum 6–12 months recent experience as a Scrub Nurse in a theatre setting.
- Competence in at least one surgical speciality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
