Key Responsibilities
- Accept, screen, and assess referrals in line with agreed service protocols.
- Determine suitability of referrals and signpost, step up, or redirect clients as appropriate.
- Conduct person-centred assessments, including risk assessments for self-harm and harm to others.
- Support individuals with mental health difficulties to self-manage their recovery.
- Deliver low-intensity, evidence-based psychological interventions (e.g. psychoeducation, guided self-help) informed by CBT principles.
- Implement a stepped-care approach, ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down of treatment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, outcome measures, and data entry in line with service standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
