We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within an inpatient rehabilitation service for females with Mental Health struggles in Leeds. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be working within a low secure and rehabilitation service offering assessment and treatment for women with complex mental health disorders. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), key responsibilities include: Assessing patients’ health issues and needs, creating and implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. Upholding a professional and discreet manner at all times, in adherence to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code. Demonstrating competence and confidence in managing individuals with long-term health conditions. Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions and treatments for service users with complex needs. Proactively identifying, diagnosing, and managing treatment plans as necessary for service users. Prioritising health issues and taking appropriate action in complex, urgent, or emergency situations, including initiating effective emergency care. Recognizing and working within the limits of personal competence. Producing accurate, timely, and complete records of service user interactions and consultations in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
