Job Title: Deputy Manager- Children's ResidentialLocation: MorecambeSalary: £34,000 – £36,000 per year (including sleep night allowance)Hours: Two days on, four days off (including sleep nights). We’re looking for a Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team at a solo children's residential home in Morecambe. This unique service provides therapeutic, one-to-one care for a young person who may find group living difficult. It's a meaningful, rewarding role where your leadership and compassion can change lives.What You’ll Do:
  • Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Lead, mentor and develop a small team of residential care staff
  • Ensure high-quality, child-centred care and safeguarding
  • Drive positive outcomes for the young person in your care
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and care standards

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a children's residential care home (within the last 5 years)
  • 12+ months in a supervisory or management role in a care setting
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted, relevant legislation, and Quality Standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Must be 21 or over (in line with care regulations)
