Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Band 5 or 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their Community Mental Health Service in Hull. This is a temporary 8-week (with the potential to be extended) opportunity to work within a recovery-focused service supporting working-aged adults experiencing secondary mental health illness.About the Team:The Team is a multi-disciplinary team comprising community psychiatric nurses, social workers, care officers, occupational therapists, healthcare support workers, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists. The team uses a recovery-focused pathway model, planning care to support service users’ progress towards self-reliance and personal goals in areas such as mental health, physical health, living skills, responsibilities, relationships, and social networks. Families and carers are considered an integral part of the care process.Role Details:
- Role Type: Temporary (8 weeks)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (specific hours discussed with successful candidates)
- Work Pattern: Site-based only (hybrid working is not available)
- Pay: £27.00 p/h Ltd (comparable to £24.09p/h PAYE Inclusive of Holiday Pay)
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience as a Community Psychiatric Nurse – Band 5 or 6
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Experience in community mental health nursing
