What You’ll Be Doing
- Opening and leading a new residential children’s home from the ground up
- Building and managing a skilled, compassionate team
- Delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for children with EBD
- Ensuring full compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
- Managing budgets, staffing, training, and strategic planning
- Acting as a positive leader and mentor to both staff and young people
- Collaborating with local authorities, professionals, and families
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years in a senior role within children’s residential care
- Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People’s Workforce
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Children Act 1989, and safeguarding principles
- Budgeting, staff development, and leadership experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to take part in the on-call rota
