About the Role
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for Mobile Void Operatives / Clearance Cleaners on behalf of a Housing Association client covering North London. This is a permanent opportunity for individuals who are hands-on and take pride in preparing properties for new tenants. The successful candidates will be responsible for clearing, cleaning, and preparing empty properties (voids) to ensure they are ready for re-letting. This role plays an important part in helping the Housing Association deliver safe, clean, and welcoming homes for incoming residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out clearance of void properties, removing unwanted furniture, rubbish, and items left behind.
- Perform deep cleaning of empty properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and hallways.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces to ensure properties meet lettable standards.
- Dispose of waste responsibly in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines.
- Identify and report any repairs, damage, or maintenance issues.
