Job Description

A client within the Private Sector based in London is currently recruiting for a Lead Fire Engineer to join their Fire Safety Engineering Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a fire safety engineering environment.The Role Key purpose of the role is to lead and deliver fire engineering strategies, ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and providing expert advice and solutions across a range of built environment projects.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:• Production of fee proposals, fire strategy reports and relevant documentation.• Attending client meetings, conducting site inspections, and communicating fire strategies.• Reviewing architectural drawings to identify risks and propose fire safety improvements.• Performing evacuation time calculations and evacuation modelling analysis.• Providing third-party design reviews and solving fire engineering calculations.The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require:• A degree in Fire Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.• IFE Membership (MIFireE or AIFireE).• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fire Engineer, ideally with project management exposure.The below skills would be beneficial for the role:• A strong understanding of ADB, BS 9999 and BS 9991.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• The ability to deliver clear, compliant and practical fire engineering solutions.The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £56,000 – £70,000 per annum.How to ApplyIf this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up-to-date CV to .uk or call Amy at Service Care Construction on to discuss the vacancy in more detail.Referral BonusIf this role is not suitable for yourself, but you know someone who may be interested, please pass on their details, or forward these details to them.
