Job Description

A client within the Public Sector based in Lincolnshire is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join their Capital Projects team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a property or regeneration environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to lead on the delivery of complex capital programmes and property development projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, to budget and quality standards.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:• Leading the planning, design, and delivery of capital and regeneration projects across the borough• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery within agreed parameters• Preparing reports, business cases, and project documentation for senior management and elected members• Coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance• Ensuring adherence to procurement rules, health & safety legislation, and council governance processesThe CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require:• A degree or professional qualification in Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline• Prince2, APM PMQ, or similar recognised project management certification• Proven experience in managing public sector capital or regeneration projectsThe below skills would be beneficial for the role:• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills• Working knowledge of procurement frameworks and contract administration• Familiarity with CDM regulations and local authority governance structuresThe client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £400 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £320 per day PAYE)How to ApplyIf this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up-to-date CV to .uk or call Amy at Service Care Construction on to discuss the vacancy in more detail.Also, if this role is not of interest to you, but you are looking for new opportunities, please still get in touch as we cover all construction-related vacancies across the region.Referral BonusIf this role is not suitable for yourself, but you know someone who may be interested, please pass on their details, or forward these details to them.
