Service Care Solutions is currently working alongside a growing local authority based in Reading. They are seeking a Senior Contracts Lawyer to join their team. If you have experience in Contracts Law and are looking for a new challenge, this role could be the perfect opportunity for you. This role is on a full-time contract basis, offering a competitive rate of:
- Umbrella: £65-70 an hour depending on experience.
- PAYE (including HOL): £57.66 - £62.06
Responsibilities of the Contracts Lawyer:
- Handling contracts caseload from start to completion.
- Management/supervision experience and a proven track record of managing a team of lawyers and paralegals.
- Strong understanding of public sector frameworks.
- Dealing with commercial contracts, procurement, information management, IT, technology, construction, intellectual property, public law, and grant agreements.
About you as a Contracts Lawyer:
- 5+ years of PQE in Contracts law.
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority within a Contracts team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
