Overview

Service care solutions are currently working with a well-established, forward-thinking law firm based in the South of Scotland to recruit an experienced Solicitor for a key position in their Annan office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive team that uses cutting-edge digital technology to deliver high-quality legal services to a growing client base across the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a busy and dynamic office that delivers legal, financial, and administrative services to a diverse range of clients including individuals, family trusts, private companies, and charities.

You will handle a broad caseload with a particular focus on:

  • Rural property transactions, including farms, estates, and residential properties
  • Title registration and conveyancing
  • Private client work, such as wills, powers of attorney, and executries

You\’ll be joining a supportive team with strong internal expertise in both property and private client work, offering great opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Around 1-2 years\’ PQE, ideally with experience managing your own caseload
  • Background flexible in agricultural, commercial, and residential property work
  • Some experience in private client matters (would be benefical)
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
