Overview
Service Care Legal are working alongside a well-established Scottish law firm, located in the historic heart of Stirling, who are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative department that prides itself on delivering a first-class service to its clients.
The Role
- Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Administering Executry Estates and Trusts
- Preparing IHT forms, Executry Accounts, and associated financial documentation
- Taking client instructions and managing files from initial contact to distribution
- Supervising and mentoring Paralegals and Trainees
- Ensuring compliance with tax and legal deadlines
The Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years PQE in Private Client work within a Scottish law firm
- Solid knowledge of Executry, Trusts, and Estate Administration
- Strong drafting, organisational, and client care skills
- An enthusiastic team player who can work autonomously
- Passionate about Private Client law and delivering high-quality client service
- Committed to staying updated with legal and tax developments
