Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a dynamic Local Authority, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Planning and Highways Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on the local community.

Role: Planning and Highways Lawyer
Location: Local Authority β Oxfordshire β Remote considered
Umbrella Rate: Β£50 β Β£60 per hour
PAYE Inc. Rate: Β£44.10 β Β£52.79 per hour
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a planning and highways law caseload from start to completion.
There will be a predominant focus on s106 agreements and highway agreements.
Draft planning law agreements.Criteria For The Role:
Qualified Solicitor / Barrister / Legal Executive with a current practising certificate and proven experience working as a Planning Lawyer, ideally within a Local Authority setting.
Strong drafting skills with a track record of negotiating and preparing Planning Agreements.
Recent and relevant experience in handling s106 agreements and/or highway agreements.Benefits:
Weekly pay β the rate offered will depend on interview performance and experience.
Remote/hybrid working
