Overview
Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a local authority, based in Worcestershire, which is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their busy Childcare Legal Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with an interest in law, particularly childcare proceedings, to build their career within the public sector.

Length: 12 months
Umbrella Rate: £15.66ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £14.23ph
Responsibilities
- Preparing, producing, and delivering court bundles under supervision.
- Maintaining accurate case records on the electronic case management system (Iken).
- Undertaking any administrative tasks required by the childcare legal team with professionalism and discretion.
Essential Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.
- A minimum of 6 months\\\’ office experience within a legal team. This will ideally be in a public sector setting or childcare/family legal team.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office applications and an excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel across Worcestershire (and occasionally further) for meetings and hearings.
