Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a large manufacturing and distribution company in Berkshire for an FP&A Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to support the FP&A Manager, who in turn supports the CFO, in driving data-driven decision making within the business by delivering robust and efficient global reporting and analytics. You will support the FP&A Manager in creating and enhancing global reporting and ad hoc analyses in the company's BI tool, MicroStrategy.
Main Responsibilities
- BI Reporting: Utilise MicroStrategy to design, build and maintain insightful, impactful and user-friendly reporting suites and dashboards to drive data accessibility on a self-serve basis. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define appropriate KPIs to report on based on business goals and priorities. Maintain and improve existing dashboards.
- Data: Deeply understand commercial, operational and financial data and our company business model. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to create required attributes and metrics available in the data cubes by briefing requirements and validating data. Scrutinize data and perform checks to ensure data quality and integrity.
- BI Engagement: Interact with a range of stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions. Become a champion in driving MicroStrategy usage across the business.
- Ad-hoc: Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis to serve specific requests and needs of the business.
Candidate Criteria
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Previous experience of commercial and financial analysis is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of MicroStrategy software highly desirable.
- Excellent visual presentation and data visualisation skills. Able to transform data into digestible information and insights.
- Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
