Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a common local authority based in Manchester. They are looking for an Childcare Solicitor to join their expanding legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work amongst the legal experts and progress your career. Please find below further details with regards to the position.

This role pays a competitive rate of:

PAYE (Inc.Hol) – 44 87 per hour
Umbrella – 50- 55 per hour

This role is on a temporary basis with potential to be long term.

Responsibilities as a Childcare Solicitor:

  • Able to handle high caseload in childcare cases from start to completion.
  • To work with the other team members in improving services and making the most of resources.
  • To provide representation on legal work on behalf of the council, and where appropriate.
  • Able to do advocacy when needed

About you as a Childcare Solicitor:

  • A qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in child care law
  • Drafting Legal documents to a high quality standard
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
