Service Care Solutions is working alongside a thriving local authority, based in Reading, which is seeking a childcare paralegal to join their legal team.
UMBRELLA RATE: 20-25ph
PAYE RATE (Inc. Hol): 17.98 - 22.32ph
CONTRACT LENGTH: Three-month rolling contract
LOCATION: Reading - hybrid (office attendance once per week)
Key Responsibilities Of The Childcare Paralegal Role:
- Support solicitors with care proceedings including drafting applications - C110A, C2 Applications, Consent forms, Letters of Instruction, Briefs to Counsel, liaising with SW, experts and other parties.
- Attending Advocates meeting and Pre-Hearing Discussions.
- Dealing with private matters in relation to adoption, S.7 and s.37, have direct contact with the SWs and courts regarding the cases.
About You:
- Strong childcare legal experience, ideally within the public sector.
- Experience of dealing with case matters on the (FPL) Family Public Law Portal, Iken and Caselines.
- Willingness to travel to Reading when required.
