Overview

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a respected Local Authority, based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Paralegal to join their legal team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a busy, supportive environment while making a real impact in adult social care law.

Adult Social Care Paralegal

Contract

Length: 3 months ongoing

Rates

  • Umbrella Rate: £20-£25ph
  • PAYE Inc. Rate: £17.98 - £22.32ph

Location

Hybrid working model (office attendance twice a week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a caseload of Re X Community DoLS.
  • Prepare and review court documents, statements, and orders.
  • Provide clear legal advice where required.
  • Support solicitors with s21A and s16.
  • Use case management systems (ideally IKEN) and other IT platforms confidently.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in local government legal services within a social care team.
  • Proven ability to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to attend the office twice weekly.
