Working Hours / Arrangements: 40 hours per week (9am to 6pm), Mondays to Thursdays – office based; Fridays – work from home. Flexible working will be considered (2 WFH days a week) following completion of probational period.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: £31,000 per annum
  • Commission: £9,000 per annum
  • OTE (salary plus commission): £40,000 per annum

Reporting To: Thomas Roaf and Jonny Cole (SDR Team Managers)

Job Brief: We are recruiting Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with the aim of strengthening our sales team with people that want to build a career as an IaaS Sales Representative and be a big part of our ambitious growth over the next 5 to 10 years. As an SDR, you will seek out new business opportunities via phone-based prospecting, as well as LinkedIn and email. You will speak with IT/technology leadership, CTOs and heads of information technology department, to identify opportunities for the Sales Executive team to make sales, by demonstrating the value of our products and customer care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling contacts at targeted new business accounts
  • Generation of written messaging across a range of platforms (email/social media etc)
  • Use of social media and online tools to enable personalisation of prospecting
  • Accurate recording of information on CRM (Salesforce)
  • Learn and communicate technical information related to our products and target industries
  • Follow a defined sales/prospecting process while maintaining high output
  • Collaborating with SDR team and Sales executive on prospecting approach to enhance revenue generation
  • Performing against a personal target to contribute to an overall team sales engagement target
  • Attendance to industry events globally

Desired Experience, Skills and Professional Candidate:

  • 2-3 years sales experience
  • B2B Sales experience within the IaaS/Technology industries highly advantageous
  • Target driven with a real drive to succeed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate why you want a career in sales
  • Good questioning and listening skills
  • Open to learning new skills
  • Desire to play a big part in the growth of our sales department over the next 5 + years
  • Live in commutable distance to Guildford

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £31,000 per annum
