A vacancy has arisen for a Sgt (Cyberspace β ICT Tech) to serve as Cyberspace Assessor SNCO 1 Leeming at RAF Leeming on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of being not before 15th February 2027. The post holder is responsible to HQ RAF Apprenticeships through OC / FS Cyberspace App Ctr for implementing the RAF Apprenticeship Assessment Strategy. In particular, the post holder is responsible for:
- Coordinating timely Learner Progression Reviews (LPRs) with apprentices remotely and or Face to Face (FtF) including apprentice visits at the workplace with Line Management involvement.
- Ensuring timely apprenticeship completions ensuring apprentices meet the necessary deadline for their apprenticeship assessment.
- Implementing and maintaining standards as required by Assessment Organisations (AO) Quality Assurance requirements.
- Supporting Apprentice Line Management through delivery of SMT 1/2 Briefs, on-programme support & Gateway to completion guidance/support.
- Undertaking Internal Quality Assurance of Apprentices Portfolios, signing off Behaviours & supporting Apprentices through Gateway to completion.
- Undertaking on programme assessment of the Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship Standard and attending meetings, as directed by FS Cyberspace App Ctr.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data records on OneFile. Utilise OneFile as the main management tool for all apprentice core business.
- Assisting Cyberspace App Ctr EO & AO towards any issues pertinent to the Apprenticeship Standard.
- Acting as a Designated Officer representative for the E-portfolio, DES/OneFile and AO contracts.
- Participating, facilitating and attending bi-annual standardisation events.
- Undertaking additional duties/projects as directed by OC / FS Cyberspace App Ctr.
