Domestic Considerations, RSDs: The post offers a high attendance level and hybrid working days when appropriate, with the opportunity to work upwards of 44 days per year. Working pattern can involve week days and weekends during modular and consolidated courses. Army Reserve post, based in YORK with some travel and overnight duty required, with occasional travel to the Altcar site when required.
Position Role: Responsible for control and serviceability of all stores and equipment held on charge. Gives G4 Logistical support and guidance to the Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provides G4 advice and support to the Coy, delegated responsibilities of the AWO in their absence.
- Manage delegated tasks and associated risk both on site and in the field.
- Maintain health and safety in the workplace.
- Management of G4 Coy accounts on MJDI and JAMES.
- Develop, advise and support subordinates. Identify and demonstrate personal and professional development opportunities for self and others.
- Deliver in barracks/business process, ensuring maintenance of standards and efficiency.
- Lead on Coy equipment care matters and deliver outputs to a high standard, in accordance with policy and doctrine.
- Manages authorised road moves (HazMat) road moves and responsible for Unit Ammunition store keeping.
