A vacancy has arisen for a corporal (TG6) Logistics (Driver) to serve as JNCO MT on 605 Sqn RAuxAF at RAF Cosford, on FTRS (LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS). The position will become available from 07 Jul 26. As part of 2 Group, the Sqn’s role is to provide a cadre of RAuxAF Logistics and RAFP personnel to support the regular RAF on operations and exercises, both in the UK and overseas. The post holder will report directly to SNCO MT. They will need to possess strong communication and organisational skills, have a confident manner and be comfortable engaging with both military and civilian personnel in various environments. As an integral member of the Sqn the successful applicant will also be required to support other Sqn activities and take a lead during training weekends.
Their primary duties will include:
- Co-ordinating and delivering relevant trade trg for all Sqn personnel as necessary e.g. Phase 2/3 trg for PTVRs as per the CONEMP.
- Assisting their Line Manager with the management and delivery of all Sqn MT tasks.
- Engaging with key stakeholders where appropriate e.g. MT Sect at RAF Cosford, DST at Leconfield, 2 MT at RAF Wittering and other RAuxAF sqns.
- Assist in the delivery of continuation trg for all PTVRs.
